Pumpkin Time!

In late Spring we had rhubarb time...

...in the heart of summer we had blueberry time...

...and now it is pumpkin time!

The plants were started by our son and grandsons at their place,
then planted at our place.

It wasn't long before the pumpkins took over our backyard!

We loved their bright orange colour.

It was soon time to harvest the pumpkin crop, load them up...

...and take a fun photo!

Happy pumpkin time!

  1. Wow! What an amazing harvest of pumpkins! Pumpkin pies? I made pumpkin pie this year and was pleased with my result. I've got more pumpkin puree saved in the freezer for any number of other dishes — pumpkin crescent rolls, pumpkin gnocchi with sage, ... yummmm. But I only had TWO pie pumpkins. Just how much purée do you have on hand!?!

    1. Hahaha! I think these pumpkins are just for show! But your recipes sound fabulous! I may have to re-think this!

Thanks so much for your comment!
