Lambton County Need-to-Read Festival

I was very lucky to be invited to participate in the wonderfully well-organized Need-to-Read Festival last week. I spent time with terrific kids at public libraries in Watford, Mooretown, Petrolia as well as Aberarder Public School. What a lovely welcome I received everywhere! I enjoyed all the sites, but I have to say I was particularly smitten with the Petrolia Branch Library, a former train station.

The back is beautiful, too, just so inviting!

Inside it is just as beautiful. I was delighted to see a display of my books in the children's section where I presented to a class of excited students. The staff and kids were enthusiastic and so much fun!

Everywhere I went we talked about books, writing and creativity. I showed tons of fun things to make and, of course, we made Button Buddies.

Lots and lots of Button Buddies!

I hope you're having a creative day!

All the best,

Judy Ann
